I don't see how it is possible to avoid. Take out the partisan view points and here is what we have

1/3 or more believe Trump is a fascist criminal illegally in office who needs to be removed at all costs.

1/3 or more believe the Democrats are the party of corrupt socialist oligarchies trying to take away all their freedoms and make tax slaves out of them and their children forever.

!/3 are completely oblivious living their lives who will go which ever way the power structure in their area goes.

I am not sure anyone can make a working nation out of that anymore.

However, not everyone agrees on who’s to blame for the current crisis. Democrats predominantly blame President Trump for the crisis, while Republican voters tend to hold the left-biased media responsible. Non-partisans blame both Trump and social media.

How does obummer escape the blame game here? He is the one that "fundamentally changed" the country by creating the false victimhood that the media loves to exploit as a social wedge.

Also, while the real divide is manifested politically, it is a fundamental difference in attitudes between the large metro city states where the elitists dwell and the rest of the country where their tax base lies.

I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t have a crystal ball. I just know that tensions between the political left and right in this country are on a war footing.

Countries don’t stay in that sort of condition for long. The balance goes out and then there’s violence. We’re as susceptible to civil breakdown as the next country.

Think they were nuts when Hillary lost?? I'm thinking riots and all-out chaos and violence against all things Trump-including anyone spotted wearing a hat,tshirt or bumper sticker.
