Spreadsheet Day is celebrated every year on 17th October, The plan of celebrating this day came about in February 2010, when the significance of spreadsheets in the day to day business works, and in fact, living became obvious to its inventor. Since 2010, Spreadsheet Day has become a day for celebrating both the pros and cons of working with spreadsheet software. These Spreadsheets are very easy to use, and it helps you balance your budget, in preparing shopping lists and in keeping track of most important days and people.

History of Spreadsheet Day Spreadsheet Day is celebrated' on 17th October as that is the date when VisiCalc, the first spreadsheet program for Apple II was released in the year 1979 and the process of computing and managing massive amounts of data became smooth and easy. Dan Bricklin of Software Arts developed VisiCalc, and it was then produced for distribution by Personal Software and marked the change of Apple II’s from a usual computer machine into an available tool for business. VisiCalc became very popular because of its ability to be used on PCs, eventually putting this excellent tool into the hands of small business owners. Spreadsheets are essential in the modern world, and all the company uses them to manage their budgets and organizes all the data’s names and numbers of members, etc.,
