History of Spreadsheet Day Spreadsheet Day is celebrated' on 17th October as that is the date when VisiCalc, the first spreadsheet program for Apple II was released in the year 1979 and the process of computing and managing massive amounts of data became smooth and easy. Dan Bricklin of Software Arts developed VisiCalc, and it was then produced for distribution by Personal Software and marked the change of Apple IIs from a usual computer machine into an available tool for business. VisiCalc became very popular because of its ability to be used on PCs, eventually putting this excellent tool into the hands of small business owners. Spreadsheets are essential in the modern world, and all the company uses them to manage their budgets and organizes all the datas names and numbers of members, etc.,
