Trump says he’s weary of greeting coffins from senseless wars
Oct 16 2019 | rintintin

And visiting the wounded at Walter Reed , from wars no one can explain why were there

Other heights from his press conference this morning:

1. He said Lindsey needs to start doing something with his judiciary committee instead of focusing on overseas endless military

2. ABC is fake news again, running a phony “Syria bombing” video

3. IS shouldnt be fighting a war 7k miles away to safeguard Syria’s border, on behalf of Syria and their ally Russia

He was so strong, so confident. I’ve never seen anothe GOPer take apart a media propagandist the way Trump decapitated that ABC fake “newsman”

Thanks for the link.

You might want to consider how this is possible against the people crapping on the sacrifice of our military:

Trump said that when he has arrived at Dover to meet the families, he is surprised at how well they often seem to be dealing with their loss.

The Middle East is more of a police action than a war, hence the perpetuity.

If we were fighting a war it’d start with defeating Iran and occupying it.

I guess you didn’t bother watching his last rally when he spoke movingly about meeting with families of our dead soldiers.

He didn’t say the died needlessly, he said, he doesn’t want them to.

We are in N. Syria to beat ISIS, not Turkey, and not to defend the Kurds.

Yes the Kurds fought with us, and are some of the best fighters in the region (though that is a low bar generally to be at the top of).

If ISIS is routed, should we stick around just to keep Turkey and the Kurds from returning to their endless fighting ?

If we are there to remove Assad, that sure isn’t happening, so why are we still there?

If Isis is no longer a threat, what is the reason to stay?

Understand I am not taking a side here, but I am articulating a very sound logical stand.

IF we are there to beat ISIS, and ISIS is routed, why should we stay there??? What strategic benefit to the US or her People is provided by our men and women bing in a war zone between factions that have been killing each other for centuries?

The KURDS are not ideological allies, they fought with us for their own motivations. They want their land, They (or factions of them) do indeed incur into turkey and engage in terrorism... We aren’t going to stick around to see them found a Kurdish state...

So, asking why US service men and women should keep risking their lives is NOT an invalid question.

Nonsense? I quoted your words in your #7.

Here your post again, Nice way to crap on the ultimate sacrifices our fallen military members have made and make their families feel like shit.

Now, please point to one military family who Trump has made to feel like shit?

Thanks for that response.

Continuing something foolish to make others not feel their sacrifice was in vain? That would just be more stupidity.

There was a time when at least part of the never ending occupation of the ME made a little sense. That time has passed.

I’m with the President, time to stop senseless sacrifice. Time to stop the coffins coming home and the young men maimed for life.

When we have a cause worth fighting for and intend to win and not just play footsie with our treasure we will go and we will fight.

You thought quoting out of context makes you look like a smart guy. LoL!

Let’s see... remind me who it was posting about wildly celebrating Obama’s election?

Oh. That was you. Repeatedly.

Our military freely signed up to serve knowing the risks and continue to do so.

And President Trump is the civilian commander in chief of that same military. His job is to decide what is best for Americans . He openly ran on a non-meddling foreign policy platform. If you’re surprised that he’s keeping his campaign promises then you should probably vote for Beto or Bernie next time.

With all respect, do you ever realize how damn silly you sound?

We get it! You love war and more war, along with the Democrats.

The rest of us DONT. And we would like to see fewer dead Americans

We totally get it’s fun for you to watch bang bang guns go off and boom boom bombs blow up gud, because you sure as hell cant articulate a coherant MISSION that these people are supposed to be dying for. You just want to see things “happen”, and for everyone to shut up and play along.

Outside of getting Bin Laden, the rest of this BS from staying in Afganistan for years and monkeying around in Iraq, to whatever the hell we are doing in Syria and Yemen, and Libya is just a horrible waste of American lives.

If he doesn’t like doing it, he can send Pence or some cabinet members.

It’s always too late to help the dead.

Of course we honor them.

We just want to keep the dead to a minimum.

What’s our American interest in a border war between Syria and Turkey?

Too many have died because of some vaporous belief system. Including half my boot camp platoon. Names on a wall because some political thief was trying to get re-elected, or to prove some theory?

Why the F$%K were we there?

Tell me all about it because I am responding to what rintintin, who quoted me out of context and repeatedly informed FR that he wildly celebrated Obama winning, has posted about what the president has said.

Is that you Cindy Sheehan?
Who are you voting for?
You know, since Trump didn’t currently take a single soldier home and in fact is sending thousands more to the Middle East.

Nonsense. You reason like the typical liberaltarian. That is not the mission of our military.

It's not the mission of our military to serve as mercenaries for Islamic royal families in Middle East sh!t-holes, either.

Point to one military family who are happy to hear the president crap on the ultimate sacrifice of a loved one.

Telling the citizens of the U.S. that it is not in our best interests to making "ultimate sacrifices" in Middle East sh!t-holes isn't crapping on anyone.
