You might want to consider how this is possible against the people crapping on the sacrifice of our military: Trump said that when he has arrived at Dover to meet the families, he is surprised at how well they often seem to be dealing with their loss.
He’s simply remarking that they are putting up a brave face and carrying themselves with dignity. He is not belittling them or their loss, or the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform.
Everyone who has been through something like that knows that there are moments when you are ‘dealing well’ and other very particular moments when you entirely break down.
