Massachusetts Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is being heavily criticized for failing to vet a high-profile campaign surrogate with a history of making homophobic, racist, misogynistic and xenophobic comments on social media.
Activist Ashlee Marie Preston was featured in a Warren campaign video released October 10. In that video, Preston explains that she’s “a Warren Democrat because I am not afraid of the fight.”
The video released by Twitter account @TeamWarren is captioned:
🙌@AshleeMPreston is a #WarrenDemocrat, and so are we. Together, we’re fighting so that all women of color have a voice in our democracy.

This assessment that it remains a far-right conspiracy theory is FALSE.
The first state to do it as a program...maybe. Illegals have been using ERs for their medical care for years. Most of the bills for babies of illegals born here are not paid by the parents either. Taxpayers are paying for a ton of medical for illegals. Anyone that thinks otherwise is totally wrong.
So many maternity bills were going unpaid, most small border hospitals closed years ago or stopped delivering babies. Back then hospitals had to absorb cost, pass on to other patients as much as they could of course. At some point the federal government started helping with at least some of the bills. So yes taxpayers are paying.
The other issue is any time illegals are in detention, whether for asylum process or other reasons their medical bills are of course paid for by taxpayers. Same for those incarcerate in jails and prisons.
LOL - walk into any ER or big city clinic in the US and watch Mexicans get free healthcare.

It many cases it is a reality, so I will agree with you on that point. Nor is it exclusively a right wing recognition. She is obviously a left wing person, so that stands as proof. Besides that, reality is not a conspiracy theory. 8>)

At the height of my meth addiction (8/9 years ago) I made a series of racially insensitive and homophobic tweets. I wasn’t out yet, and was dealing with internalized transphobia while homeless in a neighborhood where I felt culturally inferior. I’d stay up for days on end, tweeting from an impaired conscious—while shadow-boxing (via tweet) with anyone who made me feel less than.
Although those tweets were resurfaced as a political play at those who don’t deserve to be involved; I take full responsibility for my actions and deeply apologize to those I’ve offended or hurt. I also apologize to those indirectly impacted by these developments. At over 7 1/2 years clean and sober; I’ve learned to make amends when I’m wrong and to take complete accountability for my actions. I didn’t have the education, information, mentorship, or cultural competence I have now. I’m also not strung out on drugs and have a clear heart and mind, today.
My life in recovery has been a living amends in and of itself; and I fully intend to keep fighting on the frontline for the rights of ALL marginalized people—as I’ve proactively done over the years and present day. While I deeply regret the past; It’s a poignant reminder of how far I’ve come in my healing, growth and personal development—and why maintaining my recovery is of the utmost importance. My life has always been an open book and I’ve never shied away from any details of my journey—no matter how unsettling, unflattering, or exposed they make me feel. My imperfections, shortcomings, and connection to vulnerability are exactly what my platform was built on; and I fully lean into the discomfort of growth.
Again, I apologize for my past actions; and am thankful to those who know exactly who I am—and choose to love me through this moment. And to the people who dug up those tweets; thank you. I mean that with full sincerity. This gave me the opportunity to continue evolving; while clearing out the residual wreckage of my past. We can’t heal what we don’t reveal; but I’m prepared to delve deeper.

I think we’d be shocked to find out what “homophobes,” as the left defines it, democrats really are. Actually, the Alphabets are just as “homophobic.” There is a lot of concealed animus between the alphabet letters. “B’s” are especially hated as impure members of the club.
