SACRAMENTO Californians will be able to register to vote on election day at local polling places and voting centers under legislation signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday, a potentially significant step toward boosting turnout in key contests next year. The new law provides for a significant expansion of so-called conditional voter registration, which allows a new voter to cast a ballot that is counted after eligibility is determined during the 30-day vote-counting period after an election. That process began in last years statewide election, but registration was available only in county elections offices. Starting next year, voters can register on election day anywhere ballots are cast.
This simply enfranchises more people to vote, said state Sen. Tom Umberg (D-Santa Ana), the author of the new law. The presidential race is one thing, but this is going to make an even bigger difference in turnout for local races.

I am a registered voter in California. Just pop into the Drivers LIcense line, and once you get your license..you are IN. Real simple. I am now registered in 3 States.
“they can just make up whatever numbers they want.”
Maybe the Republicans there should just CHEAT TOO?
If it is that easy, and no one is paying attention, then go for it.
This is to keep the house. The Dems picked up a lot of seats in Ca in 2018.
I heard on the radio yesterday that this is the same new law in Michigan as well. You can register to vote on election day. The rats are making sure Trump can’t win Michigan again.
We need federal legislation outlining a US wide system that applies to all states to use for federal elections. Specifying who can vote, required citizenship documentation, and local house to house precinct residency registration verification. Performed by a bi-partisan canvassed confirmation team. And No provisional, mail in, or same-day ballot issuance permitted. .
While chances of this happening are doubtful. What would be helpful if this went on;
Urge a Trump roundup and this done.Check the precinct list of registered voters where these claim to have resided. If theyre on that list, Federal crime, charge them and those that enabled them to vote knowing they were illegals. If enough noise is made it should discourage illegals still here from voting. Besides determining how they got a drivers license. Show how much its costing taxpayers of that state. Also point out increased premiums on drivers insurance rates. As well as demonstrate how that areas ,local ,state and federal taxes are increased by diverting educational, medical, food and housing allocations to meet illegal’s needs at citizen expense.

“Here, Mr Klutz, this is a provisional driving certificate. Thanks for showing up. In the month to follow, it will be determined whether or not you were actually fit to be driving a vehicle on our roads.”
“Here, Mr. Nutwad; this is a provisional CCW permit. In the month to follow we will determine whether or not you were actually sane and safe enough to wield and brandish your Glock any time you please.”
Yes, Dims don’t give a shit how truly informed and educated voters are, it is only about EVERYONE voting, citizens, non-citizens. legal residents, illegal residents, foreign students, anybody, come one come all - and that is supposed to be “better”.
We know what it is all about - increasing the opportunities for fraud.
Ohio tried this for ONE election in the mid-70’s.
It was quickly repealed after that election became FRAUDAPALOOZA.
minnesota does that too, but you have to have a registered vote vouch for you
This simply enfranchises more people to vote,
Just not necessarily are they citizens.
Fido and car can register to vote on election day at any polling place under new law.
Every once in awhile the local Elections Department will mail out a voter registration card to somebody’s dog or two-year old, and it will make outraged headlines for a day or two.
In reality it likely goes on all the time, and is how the Democrat Party manages to thrive here.
As of June 30, 2019, a total of 21 states plus the District of Columbia have enacted same day registration (SDR), which allows any qualified resident of the state to go to register to vote and cast a ballot all in that day. Note that North Carolina makes same day registration possible for a portion of the early voting period but not on election day.
New Mexico has enacted legislation in 2019 (SB 672) but will implement it in phases over the next several years.
Nevada (AB 345) enacted same-day voter registration in 2019.
Washington’s same-day registration bill, enacted in 2018, is in effect as of June 30, 2019.
In most other states, voters must register by a given deadline prior to Election Day. The deadline varies by state, with most falling between eight and 30 days before the election.

She is so right on this. Absolutely correct. That right there tells us all what is happening. Now what to do about it?
“Maybe the Republicans there should just CHEAT TOO?
If it is that easy, and no one is paying attention, then go for it.”
With the Demoncrats running things the Republicans trying to cheat would be prosecuted if caught while Demoncrats would be ignored or given a slap on the wrist, the Demoncrats running things will probably be able to just make sure to always out cheat anyone who tried to cheat back.
I do not say yea or nay to anyone who wants to try but I wouldn’t do it myself.
Kalifornia will only be reformed with a revolt and/or a federal occupation.
One other option is to wait for them to go bankrupt and then give them a limited bailout in return for giving up statehood and becoming a territory, then make a new state out of just the red counties.
Indeed the state is very crooked it sounds like Chicago voting.
