NEW YORK (AP) — A homeless man wielding a long metal bar rampaged through New York City’s Chinatown early Saturday attacking other homeless people who were sleeping, killing four and leaving a fifth with serious injuries, police said.
Police recovered the weapon, which was still in the suspect's hands when he was arrested, officials said.
"The motive appears to be, right now, just random attacks," Chief of Manhattan South Detectives Michael Baldassano said, adding there was no evidence yet that the victims were "targeted by race, age, anything of that nature."

Hard to get out of the homeless life because usually you have a mental illness or you’re addicted to something.

The homeless are addicted to their problems.
At some point the authorities are going to have to force these people who live on the streets into work or some type of incarceration. The real problem are the communist judges that prevent actual help for these people. You don’t have a right to be a vagrant or loiterer. It’s inhumane to tolerate this tragedy.
Why doesn’t the headline say “Illegal Alien from Dominica kills...” instead of “New York Man”?
Basically, all these people are brain damaged because of drugs.
Compassionate euthanasia is the solution.

I blame the LIB nitwits for this situation. Society used to have mental asylums for the mentally ill. The nitwit LIBs shut them down in the 1960’s do those there could have “freedom”. Supposedly, they would get mental health treatment at “community mental health centers”. Yeah, right. LIBs are malignancies and their ideas are made from the scrapings of cesspools.
