ATLANTA - R&B singer and reality TV star Tameka “Tiny” Harris, the wife of Atlanta rapper and activist T.I., reported more than $750,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her Lamborghini SUV while she dined in Midtown, police confirmed.

Harris told Atlanta police she returned to her vehicle after having drinks with a friend on Sunday night and discovered the jewelry was gone, WSB reported.

Her wedding rings, watches and stud earrings were among the jewelry she said she left inside a blue velour bag on top of the center console of her SUV, according to the news station.

She told officers she parked the SUV about 8:45 p.m. and returned about an hour later, Atlanta police spokesman James White said. She did not report the theft until 11:23 p.m.

“There were no signs of forced entry or damage observed to the vehicle,” White said in a statement.

Her friend returned to the vehicle once to grab a deck of cards, but told officers she had “no knowledge” of the jewelry inside, the news station reported. The theft remains under investigation.

It was an obvious oversight since anyone looking to boost a bottle of Crown Royal was bound to pop that Lambo.

Velvet bags are prone to this problem and should not be used for jewelry security.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. That may well be true. But in this case, what the picture did for me, after really looking into it and soul searching her countenance. It told me she’s a member of Mensa, with an IQ north of 145./?

I once knew a man who drove one. He owned the dealership in Philly. At that time, 20+ years ago he said that white Lambo SUV had a sticker of $340,000.

Yes but it just came out recently. Shows how strong the SUV market is now. Rolls Royce just introduced one too.

You can’t just *claim* you owned bling but somebody done took it.
Insurance companies generally have provenance & conviction clauses for theft claims. The claimant must provide proof of value & the thief must be caught & convicted before the company pays.

Wonder how much they owed on their Lamborghini.

Maybe they were afraid it was gonna get stole by the repo man.

It beats explaining why she took it off during drugs and sex at her boyfriends house, forgot it and it was gone when she remembered and went back.

Or..,insurance fraud per above.

He IQ probably exceeds her bra size, but that is uncertain. Other pictures suggest that Sir Mixalot would approve of her other assets.

In any case, contrary to some expectations she is not a 350lb ghettopotamus.

Rolls Royce just introduced one too.

Not quite as wrong, but still pretty bad. I know. Porsche has done it. Jaguar has done it. Ferrari is promising one. Good God, Alfa Romeo has just done it!

It's enough to make a grown man cry. Well I am not sure sports car drivers ever grow up, but still, you get the point.

Your reference to Sir Mixalot might be a nod to “Baby Got Back”? My wife and I have some little private bits of communication we use. One is when we encounter a female with a very sizeable and prominent derierre, one of us will whisper “Baby Got Back”.

Have money doesn’t make you smart. In many cases it makes you the opposite of smart.
