I posted this yesterday in Chat and they pulled the thread.
I still haven’t seen how a low railing protects against a lion

Lion needs to be protected from idiotic human life forms, such as this example.

i like how the officials at the zoo announced they are not keen with trespassers or people that don’t respect barriers. Ok for them, just not the rest of the country.
and who else thinks that lion is thinkin’ “Buffet!!”

Barriers and rules are in place to keep both visitors, staff and animals safe I do not think that word means what you think it means. 'Bothree', perhaps?

My wife is currently addicted to a series on Animal PlanetThe Zoo which is all about the Bronx zoo. She probably knows the name of the lion involved. I wonder if the incident will be in a future episode.

I saw the video on the news this morning. I was hoping that a croc would amble up behind her.

I've thought a lot about fighting a kangaroo, and if I was younger, I'm pretty sure I could do it. Don't fight it square on, only from the side, lots of head shots, and DO NOT LET IT SET IT'S TAIL, or you're done for. Obviously, it'd have to wear boxing gloves and something on its feet to protect me from its claws.
A lion, though, that’d be a lot harder. I think if you got behind it you could put it in a full Nelson, but that's not really beating it up. That's just a losing proposition.

The incident was captured in photos and videos that were posted on Instagram. And that's what it's all about. Social media attention-whoring is wrecking our society from the top down to the dregs.

Stupids gotta stupid. It’s just a shame the lion had to deal with this home invader and her billboard-wide rear.
