I am so confused. I flip onto CNN and MSNBC and they are saying Trump is doomed. I go to Fox and they are talking about Syria. I look on Drudge and all the headlines are about the end of Trump. I go to FR and not much talk about any of this.
So what is really going on. Business as usual or something dramatic?

The problem is that you are consulting Fake News. They are terrified that CrowdStrike and Seth Rich will be investigated.
It’s simple, it’s a lot more clicks ($$$$$$) if you keep things stirred up.

Schiff has had this for weeks, and drops it on the same day Trump makes an amazing speech at the UN. Coincidence? Hardly. Those behind this need to be ...um... held accountable.
Interesting developments. Trump gets the Dems to demand
declassification of a classified document, and he does it.
He is now in position to declassify anything he wants,
without any creditable political pushback.

The dems stepped in a trap of their own making.
They didn’t know the actual content of Trump’s call, which was innocuous.
They didn’t think that Trump’s point with Ukraine was Biden’s illegal behavior.
So, by highlighting the call and crying “impeach!”, they merely opened the door to Biden’s doom.
Funny stuff! I’m not worried in the least. Indeed, Americans will quickly see through this, and it will rebound negatively for the Dems. They surely just toasted Biden, and probably did no harm to Trump. So, maybe Warren gets a win. Otherwise, just another news day.

PDJT and the Ukraine president were both dumping on Merkel and Macron. The leakers must have forgot about that when the told their CIA handler/”whistleblower”.
RBG’s demise makes sense and you and bet the Dem/MSM will claim PDJT can’t nominate her replacement while under impeachment.

I’m sure others have filled you in by now, but allow me to make a suggestion, if I may. Stop watching the news on the TV. Don’t read Drudge. Just come to FR and scroll back through the whole day of whatever is being offered. Earlier today, if you had checked, many, many threads were ALL about this “whistle blower” and what happened in the House today. If you can’t read until the end of the day, that’s ok. Just go back several pages each day and start digging in. Articles from all of those resources you mentioned are here. Keep your brain engaged, and mindful of the words that are used. Most all of the MSM, including Fox from time to time, lie and they mislead without remorse. I read the news from mainstream sources, but I go into them knowing that they are very likely to lie to me about almost everything. The MSM ALWAYS have an agenda. Once you start looking at what they say with a more discerning eye (or ear), you’ll start to see how much they misinform people, about nearly everything! Hope I haven’t bothered you by giving some advice. You didn’t ask for it specifically, but you mentioned being confused. This method helps me stay on top of things without the confusion.
I think you guys are right. It is kind of insurance in case RBG croaks. They will drag it on hoping they can turn the election and fighting a nomination. Still, it looks like it will blow up in their face.
It could be rbg. It could also be the swamp and democrats protecting their own. There is yet to be a prominent swamp creature or high level democrat to face a serious charge. Biden would’ve been the first. The scorched earth response is pretty telling.

CNN and others put out lies about how ‘bad it looks: for the President for one purpose....the educational concept of “primacy” says that what one hears first on a topic tends to stick with them ...they get the lies out early and then try to back them up when the truth shows them as lies....look for Biden to drop out before Thanksgiving due to “family concerns” because he and his supporters have zero foresight.
