This is the LAST straw. Matt Drudge's sirens and alarmist headlines promoting President Trump's impeachment is beyond sickening and pathetic! It appears Matt Drudge has now been totally co-opted by the Deep State.
If you haven't yet done so, PLEASE REMOVE "Drudgereport.com" from your web browser's default home page setting. I obviously recommend either 'FreeRepublic.com' or 'TheLibertyDaily.com' as your new default home page setting.
TheLibertyDaily.com web site is formatted similar to DrudgeReport and is actually far more informative and detailed. If you are looking for up-to-date headlines of daily news items in bullet-point format, TheLibertyDaily.com is a great replacement for Drudge.
Goodbye, Matt Drudge. Hopefully, we here at FreeRepublic can help REDUCE his daily web hits while at the same time BOOSTING FreeRepublic and TheDailyLiberty hits!

Drudge defenders bore me. He stopped reflecting the news of the day well over a year ago. He now trumpets anti Trump articles and actually refuses to post the other side. He also banner headlines minor anti Trump pieces.

This latest Impeach..... is awful. You know all of us that voted for him, PLUS all the MORE people who are now IN the Trump camp - I know many who were slightly FOR Trump but now are REALLY for Trump back him 150%. Every day, 24/7 lefty hits just keep coming. They got nothing. We have Trump.

Have never had Drudge as my default home page, but I have noticed that he has of late slipped to the lowest common denominator of “pimping” the most outrageous (and often irresponsible) headlines as a way of drawing traffic to his site.
Its the new business model. “Clicks” generate revenue via advertising, and screaming headlines generate clicks on a site.
People are by their nature dumb. The “new technology” is exploiting that to the max.
