CNN’s Jake Tapper is many things. He’s a TV man, a person who says words in public. He owns multiple suits. He is overly concerned about people being mean to him on Twitter. That last point is relevant because Tapper has put aside his fear of getting mildly criticized in a public forum in order to flex his art skills by drawing today’s “Dilbert.” The text of the comic was, as ever, written by nth-dimensional-chess genius Scott “the Brain” Adams, and the original will be auctioned off to benefit a veterans’ charity.

As Scott Adams readly acknowledges, Tapper is a much better artist than Adams is... these still look a bit bizarre ... which is the point ...
Tapper has been a “Guest Cartoonist” for “Dilbert” before. SO this is not a first time thing....

This is very confusing. Did Scott Adams draw Jake Tapper as the Dilbert or are you saying Jake Tapper actually Drew this and then put Scott Adams’ name on it? Somebody please explain.
Both Dilbert and his manager are clearly members of the tribe.

Well if Scott Adams now thinks that Tapper is smart and talented and I am now going to stop looking at scott-adams stuff. Because I thought Adams was smart now I’m having my doubts.

Andrew McMeel Syndication (AMS) has announced CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dilbert creator Scott Adams are auctioning off an original Dilbert comic as part of the Third Annual Homes For Our Troops Veterans Day Celebrity eBay Auction, Nov. 7-17, 2019. Tapper will draw the comic for the week of September 23. Tapper’s original art, combined with Adams’ writing, will be signed by both, framed, and auctioned to support Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), an organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans.

I actually kinda like it. Sorta psychedelic in a “sane” way. It’s just disquieting seeing it as a regularly scheduled Dilbert strip.
It also doesn’t make any sense.
a computer programmer or people in quite a number of fields could could show me 2 choices and tell me the one that they picked and I would have no clue if it was the right choice or even the better choice if I don’t know the terminology.
That is not smarter or dumber.
This is simply a case of not having the knowledge the other person has, in this instance, Dilbert’s knowledge of programming, which we’ve been shown time and again that has boss knows nothing about.
Scott was commenting on his Podcast about how his Twitter comments were running anti-Tapper, while Tapper’s were anti-Scott.
He read the ones from Tapper’s Twitter feed for quite a while, chuckling, finally commenting about how many ‘broken people’ were out there.
Moral: Don’t be one of them, folks. You might want to read today’s videos/quotes from Ruth Bader Ginsburg (of all people) answering similarly snarky lefty questions about her friendship with the late Justice Scalia.
Basic decency guys. It starts at home. A rapist or murderer is a monster. Someone who merely votes differently than you do is not.
