According to the pics, very clear....................
Looks like he was way over to the left and over-corrected.
Classic loss of concentration/dozing off accident.
You hear the rumble strips on the right, and you jerk the wheel to the left. Next thing you know, you're off the road on the Left. Good thing there was a guard rail.
Very sad. Prayers for those involved, first responders, and those who will be helping the victims.
Full rollover, back onto the wheels?
The Chinese yelled at the driver “turn light, turn light” and the driver checked his blinkers.
Could have been a crosswind.
I’ve seen semi’s flipped in Wyoming
That is not funny.....4 deaths
” Good thing there was a guard rail”
I think the guard rail led to more injuries and deaths.
It's about 70 degrees in Kanab, UT...about 90 minutes from Bryce Canyon. O/T, but ever since my second trip to the area a few years back, I've kept their weather info on my phone.
It can get windy in that area, but my first guess it's driver error.
Back to my original thought:
What guard rail?
My uncle used to drive a tour bus in this area when he was young. He once told me the winds could be treacherous, bus this looks like a relatively flat stretch of road, not a box canyon or anything steep. My bet is driver error as well.
I have been to that area many times, I love Bryce Canyon. Poor people, may God rest their souls and hopefully the injured will survive.
Looks like a car(s) in front was turning into the Pines Rest area (the Blue Restroom sign), he went off the right shoulder to avoid rear-ending it, then over corrected left and rolled it.
Drove through here yesterday its been clear all day.
You’re right the wind yesterday when I drove through there was down right scary. Both hands on the wheel.
