Nick Carter says his brother, Aaron, has left him with no choice but to seek legal protection after he claims Aaron threatened to kill Nick's pregnant wife and unborn child ... though Aaron says he'd never harm family.
According to the temporary restraining order obtained by TMZ ... Aaron has to stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, Nick's wife, their kids and other family members, specifically their residence in Las Vegas.
Nick says both he and his sister were forced to seek the order against Aaron, "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child."
A rep for Aaron tells us, "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.

No, I mean Aaron Kaufman, the Mechanic.
He has never lip synced the Mighty Mouse Theme Song as far as I know.
Aaron also had a singing career but hasn't done anything in years. He got hooked on drugs and even used meth.
The Carter parents divorced. Their sister, Bobbi, either committed suicide or accidentally OD'ed. They've been dysfunctional for years.
I can't say that I would trust Aaron with guns.
Correction: Leslie died of an overdose.
They may the ones who created these magical little pills...
The situation is an example of, potentially, confiscating guns from someone who seems to be a clear and present danger to the safety of others.
I was never a fan of Clarence Carter.
But Clarence Clemons is another story...at least before Bruce became the phony rock star, “BRUCE”.
I saw an interview with BS (fitting initials) who said he liked the sax sound of the Dave Clark 5 and wanted that same sound in his band...and that led to Clarence Clemons.
True. It is also an example of the problems. What if X is just mad because Y sides with a rape accuser and is making Y’s life hell.
It belongs in court with a Judge adjudicating after looking at all the evidence.
Most situations won’t have one of the parties going on national TV waving around a bag of pills claiming he has multiple personality disorder.
Yes, that's true! However, many potential cases would probably have clearly identifiable threats on social media.
And why does anyone care?
Because this sets a precedent for removing guns and younger people will be watching it.
My thoughts exactly, “who are these people?”-—might as well be fictional characters. Couldn’t care less.
My bad.
Thanks for the correction.
Who defines 'crazy'? The APA? They're a bunch of idiots and PC quislings. I don't want my sanity defined by such dangerous people.
“Um... who are these people?”
my first (and only) thought about the matter ...
I was a sound engineer at an Aaron Carter show in Pitman NJ. He was, without a doubt, the most drugged up, train-wreck Ive ever worked with. His entourage was a cast of enablers and like-minded druggies. We all agreed that soon he is going to implode and this sounds like the start.
Aaron came out of the closet, and then quickly went back in it.
Drugs and living in the closet have done one hell of a number on him.
Never heard of any of ‘em, but they sound dysfunctional.
I’ve heard of the Backstreet Boys but not enough to know the individual members. Ok so Nick Carter was one of them and his family life is somewhat hellish. May he find peace.
You should. Their name doesn’t matter. It’s a red flag law happening in real time...and a discourse on what to do with someone who is mentally Ill and or drugged or both with 6 guns
and the family is terrified.
