Sen. Ted Cruz, the runner-up to Donald Trump in the bruising 2016 Republican presidential primary, revealed Thursday that he wants to someday mount another White House campaign.
Look, I hope to run again, the Texas lawmaker told The Christian Science Monitor. We came very, very close in 2016. And its the most fun Ive ever had in my life."

And he's not very well liked in his own legal circles.
If he runs in 2024, he has my vote.
overall a capable and good man. ineligible however.
There’s still the question of citizenship. He would be better in 2004.
whoops...2004 should be 2024.
So you want him deciding that natural born citizens includes Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, eligible to be President?
If he is, they are.
He knows what the founders meant, he just puts his own ambition ahead of the Constitution.
I don’t want him anywhere near the court.
Hes got a solid head for it but one that I wouldnt want to see in the Oval Office.
I assumed 2024 my fingers are all the time hitting the wrong keys. LOL
I believe that he would stick to the Founders/Constitution if in the position.
Scalia said it....Born in the USA means just that.
Scalia said it....Born in the USA means just that.
Why would you believe that?
He knows he is ineligible and runs anyway.
He has no fealty to the Constitution.
He only has fealty to Ted.
He is the candidate for people who believe that it is okay for mobs to attack the voters and when that happens it is the voters fault.
Ted took that position outright, and both he and anyone who supports him will wear it.
That is never going away. It is who Ted is, and it is who his supporters are.
Beto lost to Cruz, but the media declared Beto the real winner.
Should have kept his Canadian citizenship. Cubanadian-born. He’s in it for himself.
Ted, sit down and shut up!
Has his father been totally ruled out in that JFK thing?
I guess thats part of my thinking. Hes not going away and from what Ive seen of him, he would be a total d**k about sticking to our Constitution - especially because he had to.
Do not want.
Somebody has to come after Trump. I’m open to other ideas, but Cruz wouldn’t be bad.
