Popeyes might have a solution for customers who want to try their sold-out chicken sandwiches.
The fast food chain shared a new marketing video on Thursday informing customers that they will be able to enjoy the sandwich so long as they BYOB Bring Your Own Bun.
The popular item from the New Orleans-style restaurant sold out two weeks after it was added to the menu nationwide, prompting Popeyes to create a way to ease customers sorrows and cravings, the eatery told PEOPLE in a statement.
Popeyes still has the best fried chicken in the game, so bring your own bun, order 3-piece tenders and voilà! You can make your own sandwich, the restaurant added.
In the clip put out by the fast food restaurant, Popeyes shows customers how to go along with the gimmick.

Opening themselves up to lawsuits. It wont be long before somebody brings in contaminants like bugs, rodent parts, dirt, and chemicals to blame on the restaurant.
Yikes! My coworkers love Popeyes.
How’s this for an idea?
Fire the idiots screwing up your logistics and hire someone competent.
You can take them out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of them. I like their food but I don't like getting a side of 'attitude' just about every time I go there.
Quality and especially service seem to vary from store to store. If they could come halfway close to Chick-Fil-A they could be on top.
I’ve been eating homemade jalapeno poppers. They’re addictive. I’m still perfecting my chile rellenos though. Okra is a cinch. All from my garden.
They’ve got a great seasoning but I forget the name of it.
Not only do they have jalapeno poppers, but creamy jalapeno sauce and purple pepper sauce.
A local Popeye’s is located beside an AT&T store, with the entrance to the shopping center in front of AT&T The line of cars waiting for a chicken sandwich ran along the side of Popeye’s, zigged in front of AT&T, ran out on the busy street (3 lanes of traffic each way), there were about 10 cars stopped dead in the street, waiting. I would say there was at least a 20 minute wait to get a sandwich, probably more.
I like Popeye’s a lot. However my thought was, these people must have very empty lives to be so obsessed with a fast food sandwich. I could just visualize them calling friends, “I got a Popeye’s chicken sandwich!!”. Probably posted the big news on Facebook too.
I know right? I ate at popeyes once a few weeks ago just to try their chicken. Tastes like that other franchise Churches Chicken.

While I slip on their greasy floor. And while I can’t understand people that were born here. Ok.
