New fur coats and mink shawls could soon face extinction in California. State lawmakers in the Assembly on Wednesday gave final approval to legislation that would outlaw new items made from the fur of undomesticated animals, including mink, rabbit and coyote. If signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom, California would be the first state in the nation to ban the sale of new fur products.

What about shaved fur? felt, leather?
It is already against the law to shoot mountain lions in Kalifornia.
The same law means that the top wild animal in the food chain can not be managed by the state dept of wildlife. they can’t touch a mountain lion. So, what do they do?
The only thing they can do, turn their heads when someone shoots them for being too close to their homes or livestock.
The only management tool they have is to ignore any possible crimes and not to prosecute.
When the laws were first passed I used to call if I shot a bear is trying to get into my garbage shed or stopped a cat that was in my pastures where our livestock is kept. I got told every time to take pictures and bury them.
Now I don’t even call.
The asshole democrats who live in the cities and run this state have no clue that there are literally more than 15 million acres of unimproved wilderness in Kalifornia. They run this state as if is one big city and totally ignore all of other cultures that inhabit about 80% of state lands.
We do not represent enough votes to even get their attention. The city-slicker flatlander democrats who have a strangle hold on this state just do not give a single damn about what we want for ourselves in the area we live in or even on the land we own.
Yes the democrats in power here are that self centered and self serving.
Then they wonder why the non city mountain counties want to become part of the new state of Jefferson. Southern Oregon is in the same situation as northern Ca. They want out of Oregon and would welcome becoming part of Jefferson.
Our local culture, the way we live and the way we do things here, have zero connection to or in common with the culture of San Francisco, Los Angles, or Sacramento;yet we are ruled by these elected progressive socialists in the same manner that Hitler ruled Germany.
We have no say in anything.
Is leather okay? had a secretary in So Cal back in the 90s, green eyes, d-cups, grew up on a bar stool in Boston where her mom was a bar tender.
She went to Tijuana to get some leather pants, custom fit. Wore them into the office on casual Friday, you could feel the lust in the air at the office that day. Lucky me, I was a single.

Sooner or later, they are going to have to be a separate Country. Maybe, everyone will just change their advertising to “Offer Not Valid in AK, CA, HI”
California is the first for most things that are destroying our nation.

CA better ban leather products. They no doubt think it’s a shame to wear things made from dead animals, wild or domestic.
Also replace “Republic” with “Dictatorship.”

Odds are that Nutcase Newsom will sign it as he signs just about anything the Dem legislature passes. Nutcase Newsom makes Moonbeam Brown look like a conservative. At least Brown did not carry on an affair with the wife of his best friend and campaign manager.
