New fur coats and mink shawls could soon face extinction in California. State lawmakers in the Assembly on Wednesday gave final approval to legislation that would outlaw new items made from the fur of undomesticated animals, including mink, rabbit and coyote. If signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom, California would be the first state in the nation to ban the sale of new fur products.

They always describe this lunacy as, “the first state in the nation,” like that gives this stuff some sort of legitimacy.
So, a farmed animal is okay......................
People that can afford them will just go out of state to buy them.
I predict an explosion of fur shops at the retail areas of high end casinos in Las Vegas.
I have a nice otter troopers cap made by Eskimos and sold in a trading post on or near the north slope purchased for me by my brother in law.
Love it. Try to take it from me Newsome (if I ever go to California ) or anyone else for that matter.
Cruella de Vil not affected by the ban.
Another day, another ban in CA.
I’ll just get one “Made in China”
so Californication says its okay to make your next coat by skinning your cats

“No, François, Let that one go. He has spirit! One day he may be Vice President!”
Soon to be a sanctuary state for deer, moose, rabbits, foxes and mountain lions as well as Muslims and Mexicans. No wonder they think the NRA is a terrorist group.
Soon the women at their awards shows will just be showing up naked. Oh, wait.
No more rat fur lined gloves anymore.
Who cares. Faux furs are so high quality now, its often hard to tell if theyre Faux or not.
I have a gorgeous Dennis Basso faux black mink full length coat, its fabulous. Occasionally a PETA type will scold me in public when I wear this coat.
When I was younger, I shopped for a real black mink coat in Canada. I asked the saleslady how many minks it took to make this one gorgeous coat. She told me about 150. Even though I had the money, I just couldnt buy the coat.
There is a racist element to this story. Some Left Wing rag ran a piece saying how African-American women love to splurge on fur coats and the attack on wearing furs driven by whitey is racist.
Fits right in with their ban on trapping from a few weeks ago.
Idiots.
So people will buy them elsewhere.
Cigar sales (including a mail order ban) are definitely on the California future ban list.
I keep warning California folks to stock up now...
California says: protect the minks, abort the babies.
If California legal majority citizen voters want to buy fur products but California government ignores the will of its majority voters, then voters are protected by the Constitutions Article VI, Section 4 imo, which guarantees each state a republican form of government.
"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

We are still stuck with a worthless Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that can be expected to munch popcorn while watching renegade California government oppress its majority voters.
The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and state governments
All patriots in the nation need to come to the rescue of California citizens by doing the following.
Patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to fully support PDJTs vision for MAGA, now KAG, but will also do the following.
The new patriot Congress also needs to promise to do its constitutionally enumerated duty to insure republican form of government for each state by making penal laws to discourage activist state actors from ignoring their duty to maintain such a government.
Remember in November 2020!
MAGA! Now KAG! (Keep America Great!)
