On August 25th Swedish YouTuber "PewDiePie" Felix Kjelberg passed the 100 million subscriber mark, becoming the most popular YouTuber in history. YouTube has send him a Red Diamond award marking his achievement.
Along with the award YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki also sent Kjelberg a letter congradulating him on his recent marriage to fiance Marzia Bisognin after eight years of dating.
Kjelberg took the occaision to announce that he would be celebrating the massive milestone by donating a whopping $50,000 to the Anti-Defamation League.
The sudden generosity is puzzling, given ADL's leadership role in tarring Kjelberg with allegations he has a history in making anti-semitic videos.
Kjelberg made no announcement explaining his motives for the award, which has provoked a storm of outrage and speculation online, with many fans speculating blackmail or imposition of a "success tax".
Some serious proofreading needed here. ...
Yup.
Why is it that even if you Do check, it somehow is only after POSTING that all this cr*p suddenly leaps out at you..?
I hate that.
:(
I know, right? Twenty plus years ago, ADL was one of the major complainers having the Ten Commandments statue removed from the Alabama courthouse. Imagine an organization for the defense of Jews censoring the Divine Law entrusted to Moses and the Israelites! It's mind-boggling.
Maybe you should educate yourself then before exposing to all that your are ignorant on a topic that nonetheless you thought it worthwhile to comment on.
While no saint, and his videos are certainly not always family viewing...
Someone asks why someone should care about this guy, and you say that?
Your brain belongs in a roach.
PewDiePie is not political and probably knows nothing about The ADL expect that he was pointed in that direction to make a contribution because the nut who shot people, mostly Muslims, in New Zealand, in late 2018, invoked PewDiePie’s name on his life stream before his atrocities were filmed. So Pew has been feeling guilty ever since.
I meant except not expect. Typo.
Congradulations for noticing. Sheesh.
“donation to the ADL is more than likely his way of trolling them.”
True. $50K to the ADL is an ethical move by Pew and shows that ADL is not worth much. I subscribed to Pew a few years ago when I learned that he supports freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly. He is hated by the same people that hate President Trump.
I didnt know that happened. Thanks for the info. I just have seen how the organization lost sight of helping victims of anti- Semitic attacks or discriminations. People advise that its because the outfit management was taken over by some hard core leftists. Whatever. A new organization is desperately needed. I wouldnt give the present one two cents !
Understood. A new organization is desperately needed
I hear you.
Congradulating?

Lots of us here....
Not far behind...WHAT?
Becoming a Quisling or getting 100M subs? I'll definitely take the latter. BTW, if you think the former, I guess you missed my videos criticizing YouTube, including last Friday.
PJ, relax. I was talking to the subscriptions.
To get 100M subs I need a retweet of one of my videos from @realDonaldTrump.
I am “woke” to an entirely different tune!
Faith, FReedom, Duty, Honor, Country!
I don't know the exact wording, but Rush Limbaugh has observed that any organization not specifically mandated to remain conservative will be taken over by leftists. They are never, never happy.
thanks for that.
i may copy it onto all the walls at our office!
