I’m picking my Bears but the last time I remember being surprised when they lost to the Packers was Rex Grossman on New Years eve.

I thought nothing could be more annoying than that migraine commercial (Princess and Pirates! It should be for an anti-psychotic drug instead). I was wrong.

Pharmaceutical commercials in general are the worst.

Week One I see the Bears besting Big’s Cheeseheads—

The Ewes will smash Kam’s Kitties—

The Iggles over the Deadskins—

Jets streak by the Bills—

The Viqueens beat Atlanta's Black Byrds—

Crab City's Black Byrds feast on the Phish—

My Old Dallas Texans stomp the Jag-offs—

Da Browns over Allegra's Old Earlers—

The Bolts beat the Luckless Indyians—

The Seahags slip by TCU North—

The Bucking Ears kick the 69ers to the curb—

Detroit's Lambchopps spank Arid Zona—

Big’s Patty Cakes melt the Stoolers—

New Or’Leans spank Allegra's Texicans—

The Vegas Bound Waiders slip by Denver;s Ponies—

AND my BOYS bitch slap Eli's Midgets—

As to the college game, my Aggies will upset the Clemtines--

In the Alumni Bowl, North Texas will go very Green and very Mean on SMU--

LSU will burst the Teasips' bubble--

Michigan will beat Big's Kadets--

And, now, my iron solid predictions for the whole NFL season are as follows:

Tommy B and the Pattycakes in the AFC East

Da Browns in the AFC North

Allegra's Texicans in the AFC South

My Old Dallas Texans in the AFC West

My Cowboys in the NFC East

The Viqueens in the NFC North

New Or’Leans o\in the NFC South

The Seahags in the NFC West

My Old Dallas Texans will stop Tommy B & Company in the AFC Championship

My BOYS over New Or’Leans in the NFC Top Game

Finally, with both of my Dallas teams in the Super Bowl, I can live with either one being NFL Champs!

Gdazooks, do I ever feel better now that I got all that settled!

Here is a Pet Peeve of mine concerning NFL games.

Why do the night games start so late?

8:20pm? That is just too late.

7:30 EST should be the latest.

Not on the West Coast. You’d have to drive like a maniac and hope to be very lucky to make it home from work in time to catch the kick-off.

16 weeks of pt spreads.

Weird that they wouldn't just tack on week 17 as well.

But I’ll give it a go as they say in Jolly old England

The Sillinannies look good on paper. But will they live up to the hype?

I need to hang onto this so I can remind myself at the end of the season that I am not as smart as I think I am...

Chicago - Home field advantage, baby!
N.Y. Jets - Ditto
Baltimore - Miami may go o for 2019
Kansas City - #back2backMVPatrick!
Cleveland - New form of agony for Browns fans — get close without winning it all
Philadelphia - Wentz > Keenum
Minnesota - Not sure what to think about ATL, tbh
Carolina - West Coast teams have issues on the east coast
Indianapolis - F-— dean spanos and every moving van he used
Seattle - Cincy is just not good
Arizona - AZ wins it’s first Big 12 Conference Game
Dallas - The giants are awful
San Francisco - Tampa Bay will be awful
New England - PIT is in decline; the Pats not as much
New Orleans - I do wonder if Brees is still Brees
Oakland - Flacco has not been good for 4 seasons...

It's not new...just hasn't been like that in about 30 years. But most of us here are VERY familiar with that agony.

Any Browns fans that were not at 6 years old in 1989 does not know the emotion that Charger, Viking, and Bills fans have known intimately (although, the chargers have no remaining fans as near as I can tell) throughout the Super Bowl era.
