Ryan Russell has played in the NFL for three seasons, but when he suits up and takes the field for his next gameday he will be the first man to play in a regular season game who identifies as bisexual.
Russell, currently a free agent, was drafted by the Cowboys in 2015 after playing college football at Purdue. He played one year at the Cowboys and then two years at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but no one knew who the defensive end really was.
Russell told ESPN that he hid his sexual identity during the first three years of his career. He said he had a fear that it could be the end of his career if he was honest about being bisexual.
"I rationalized my fear because it was easy to convince myself that hiding who I was made the most sense. The competition is so stiff to stay in the league, that any small mark can lead a front office to choose another guy for your job," Russell told ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz.

Because CNN is setting people up for the next outrage.

Welcome of the era of claiming to be bi/gay to further your career.
Julianne Hough just did the very same thing. Married for years to a mans’s man hockey player. All of a sudden, now that she has some notoriety at the moment after being a judge on AGT, has “discovered” that she is “not straight”.
This crap is just SO TRANSPARENT. Seriously?! Who on earth believes a scintilla of all this?

And she hears similar stories??
Question: who brings in the bedbugs? Any particular social/racial groups? I hate going to hotels anymore. I check the beds and I still sleep on top of the covers.

Honestly, what does your sexual preference choice have to do with work an employer is compensating you to perform?
Excluding sex work; how does ones sexual compulsion have any positive revenue enhancement on work related tasks?
Other than an a narcissistic compulsion to be the center of attention by coming, it does not increase productivity, reduce work place injuries or build consensus on project deadlines.

Aint no such thing as a bisexual man
Yes. There is. I never understood it. I am strictly hetero. But its true. Ask a bisexual. Its pretty interesting. They look at someone, of either gender, and find them sexually attractive. Not every person. Just like you dont find every woman attractive. The difference is the person they find attractive (enough to date if they were single, you know?) might be a woman, or might be a man.
Probably a lot of people are bisexual but just ignore the attraction they dont want to have.

She sure does. Luckily she's on day shift so only hears about it.
I don't rightfully know who brings in bedbugs. So far, her hotel hasn't had a problem with them for as long as she's been there. But I think you can tell when you see some large family groups of all ethnicities and races who just seem to be dirty or unkempt. A group that when you look at them you say to yourself "aw man, they're really going to trash the place". They'll spend a little extra time cleaning certain rooms.
My wife's hotel does a very good job making sure ALL bedding is cleaned. But if you're worried about bedding, you should be more worried about the comforters than anything.
It's quick, easy, and efficient to wash and change sheets and pillow cases. Comforters are bulkier, you can't wash as many at once, they're harder to dry, etc. So if you stay in a place that cuts corners and you're suspicious, I'd get rid of the comforter.
Also check the base of your shower curtains. A good way to overall assess the cleanliness of your bedding is to see if they take the time to ensure you have fresh-laundered shower curtains and liners. If they don't bother to change them, they'll stain or even mold at the bottom. If you see that, then you can be rightfully suspicious of the rest.
I thought when my wife started working that I'd hear all of the horror stories about cleanliness. I've been pretty surprised at how hard they DO work to avoid those issues.
On an extended stay, tip your housekeeper early. Tell her you'd like her to ensure that all of your bedding is fresh from the laundry. Also, tell her you'd like her to make sure you have clean shower curtains and liners from the laundry as well. While all of this should be "as expected", a quick well-placed $10 bill can help provide piece of mind.
