Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte went on a boat trip in the south of France ahead of welcoming world leaders to Biarritz for the G7 summit.
The 41-year-old French president showed off his summer body while jet skiing near Fort de Bregançon just a day before meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Putin met with Macron for talks last Monday at the fortress on France's Mediterranean coast a week before the start of the G7 conference.
The Russian president took the opportunity to take a swipe at Macron following the meeting by suggesting anti-government protests such as the Yellow Vest movement would never happen in Moscow.

I get to play on a boat and jet ski, just not you. We need tougher action on climate change.
Like that young girl who sailed across the Atlantic to have people be aware of climate change and her support group flew.
