Because LGBTQ Americans living in poverty often experience unacceptable homophobia and transphobia, many become homeless.
A majority of homeless LGBTQ people end up on the streets before they turn 18, and one in four is homeless before turning 16.

The left destroys everything and here goes the Salvation Army.
Ugh!!!!!
Or it is their effort to collect money from the far left, a group that hates them for their Christian character.
Or used to be???
There food bank system is corrupt. Knew people on the inside. They told me just look at the vehicles the recipients arrive in for free food. So I did. I was appalled.
Never donated again.

But why not choose a group EVERYONE will be sympathetic to instead of advertising a group that will STOP a lot of funds from coming in.
Contributors are the stockholders of a non profit.
That’s INSANE.
Are people afraid to vote them out because of political blow back?
Everyone at the top at Gillette should be working McD’s by now.
Divine Mercy Care in Virginia is excellent as well. Comprehensively pro-life, comprehensively pro-women OB/GYN network. Quite unique and outstanding,
This is THE main page, period. No “location” finding, just under the “What We Do” drop-down menu at the top. (I was looking for what I might be “allowed” to donate.)
That is the thing - I was looking for some sign that SA was simply being kind and maybe would indicate that SA needs to proselytize to them along with obvious charitable assistance.
But I see no such sign, only pablum about how we need to help homos without “discrimination”, because they have been discriminated against (these days? HAH!).
Agreed, but we know how somehow, recently, it has become “CRIMINAL” to try to “convert” a homo (and I guess the extra insane trannies).
What about the rights of the homo? What if HE wants help out of this? He’s not allowed to seek help, and churches, etc, are not allowed to give it!
Donate your Toys to the local Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital or Saint Jude Hospital.
I may have to switch mayself. I always would try to put money into the kettle for the SA. I did this because they have a very good percentage rate of your dollar actually going to the poor, instead of a minimum to the needy and the rest to fund nice offices and 1st class travel for upper echelon employees (Yes, I'm looking at you United Way). Now, it looks like they have jumped the shark along with everyone else.
Food insecurity. Yesterday, there was another story about the poor homeless population and they referred to the RV's that are parked everyplace as "mobile housing units". ARRRGGGHHH!
Yes. It is a sister denomination to: _*The Free Methodist Church, Church of God (Anderson), Church of Christ in Christian Union, The Wesleyan Church and The Church of the Nazarene....or at least it WAS.
*I may have missed a few.
I won't argue that many of them are mentally ill; but, I did watch that documentary about a month ago, titled: Is Seattle Dying?
In that doc, they were saying that the majority of the homeless were drug addicts. This is the problem, getting them off the drugs; and, keeping them off the drugs. You could probably find this documentary on UTube. A graphic look at what happens to one of the most beautiful cities in the United States, when it has decades and decades of nothing but Democrat Party rule.

...
Mental illness and drug addiction aren’t mutually exclusive.
“OK WHY does it matter why they ended up homeless?? (1)
Is the Salvation Army now doing family interventions or gving psychotherapy?” (2)
1) Because if you point out a pit, maybe someone won’t fall in it.
2) They do indeed have family counseling.
Good.
Then they can go help faggots and trannies :)
..we just gave a ton of things in the wake of my mother’s passing—wish I had known this sooner...
