Boys around 13 years old on average measure around 5-foot-2 and continue to grow until around 17. I don't think that's correct. Barron's unusual, but I think most 13 year old boys would fall between 5'5" and 5'10", some above and below.
Heck, I was around 5'8' as were several friends. Don't remember any who were still only 5’2".

My 13-year-old son is showing surprising height, too, although he’s not yet taller than his father. At least, he wasn’t yesterday.
