FULL TITLE: Far-left and far-right groups clash in Portland: Four injured and 13 arrested as tensions flare between protesters on streets lined with more than 1,000 cops just hours after President Trump threatened to declare Antifa a 'terror organization'
Police arrested at least 13 people and seized metal poles, bear spray and other weapons Saturday as hundreds of far-right protesters and anti-fascist counter-demonstrators swarmed downtown Portland, Oregon.
Authorities closed bridges and streets to try to keep the rival groups apart. The city's mayor said the situation was 'potentially dangerous and volatile,' and President Donald Trump tweeted 'Portland is being watched very closely.'
As of early afternoon, most of the right-wing groups had left the area via a downtown bridge. Police used officers on bikes and in riot gear to keep black-clad, helmet- and mask-wearing anti-fascist protesters - known as antifa - from following them.
But hundreds of people remained downtown and on nearby streets, and there were skirmishes throughout the day. Police declared a gathering of mostly left-wing protesters near Pioneer Courthouse Square a 'civil disturbance' and told people to leave.
One person was injured and transported via ambulance, and three other people were evaluated by medics, Portland Police spokeswoman Lt. Tina Jones said. The injuries were minor, she said.
Jones said at one point there were about 1,200 on the streets, but that number had fallen to about 400 late in the afternoon.
The events began late in the morning. Flag-waving members of the Proud Boys, Three Percenters militia group and others gathered downtown, some also wearing body armor and helmets. Police said they had seized the weapons, including shields, from multiple groups as they assembled along the Willamette River, which runs through the city.

‘Far Right’?? Very tired of this horsepucky. Those of us who support individual, instead of group, freedom, are labeled far right. The closer we get to the basic freedoms and beliefs that founded this great nation, the farther out they label us. Soon, anything other than far, far left will be labeled radical by the Drive-By media.
Relax. They are in a panic. We are not. Do the math.

Back when I was editing, I sure wouldn’t have let that one slip by. But old-school journalists like myself are mostly dead or retired.
Now that I no longer have to maintain the pretense of objectivity, I was kind of hoping that the entire city of Portland would have been burned to the ground by now.

Far right groups?! No such thing
Was watching a CBS video of Portland and when they mentioned antifa they showed clean bare faced right wing protesters instead, letting unwary viewers assume it was antifa looking patriotic and civil. Apparently the media prefers not to show antifa protesters in all their unwashed masked glory .
The “antifascists” and the left in general are obsessed with race and racial and ethnic “identity.” They have an elaborate scale they use to judge everyone based on their racial and ethnic background. Everyone is supposed to conform to some racial and ethnic stereotype. Then they call conservatives “racists” for not sharing their obsession with race and “identity.”
For its likely liberal editorial slant, daily mail prints stories that, unless fox prints it, would NEVER be seen.
Time and again they report actual NEWS, regardless of content and whether or not it helps or hurts the left.
I respect that.
It means some pretty extreme jail sentences, and if considered “international terrorism” (which it is - lots of foreign involvement) then Gitmo is in play yes.
Recalling the events in Charlottesville, all the violence and chaos was instigated by the "antifas", aided by a black nationalist left wing mayor and police leadership who deliberately stood down as violence erupted. Peaceful history buffs speaking out for their heritage were deliberately herded by the police into the waiting mobs of violence hungry "antifas".
For me, this was a turning point, not only in the violence but in the incredible lies told and canonized by the media, who have turned a leftist instigated brawl into its opposite, "a neo-nazi" attack on liberals. And even more incredible how they twisted it further into a blood libel on President Trump, distorting his words into praise for latter-day nazis.

The leftist media is our enemy, folks. All they do is constant information warfare against us under the guise of freedom of the press.
The people in leftist media hope that one day we are all put on trains and shipped to the liquidation centers that want antifa to set up.

The orgbization of ANTUIFA is national in scope and has the single purpose of suppressing the Republican/Blue Dog Dem vote in Nov. 2020. Republicans may have to battle their way to the polls in Nov. 2020 in sanctuary city locations.

Big victory for us considering every policeman in Portland had to be called to duty — think of all the expensive overtime and extra pay that came out of city coffers. Make them do it every couple of weeks or every month - bankrupt the city, punish the city and mayor Wheeler for their support of Antifa.
With Trump‘s help we are making the city experience their own NFL moment.
