FTA: Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro has said he will only accept an offer of international aid for fighting fires in the Amazon if French leader Emmanuel Macron ‘withdraws insults’ made against him.
Mr Bolsonaro said his French counterpart had called him a liar, and accused him of questioning Brazil’s sovereignty amid tensions over devastating fires sweeping the Amazon region.
It is the latest deterioration in a running feud between Bolsonaro and Macron, with recent jibes over the Notre Dame inferno and Macron’s wife, Brigitte.
The G7 nations have pledged 20million dollars (£16.3million) to help fight the flames in the Amazon and protect the rainforest, in addition to a separate 12million dollars (£9.8million) from Britain and 11 million dollars (£9million) from Canada.

Up here is Canada, seniors get ambulances paid for by the taxpayer (government).
We have MANY seniors who call an ambulance, go to the hospital, make up some minor complaint, then say they’re fine now and walk out the door. The hospital is usually downtown, and the ambulance is cheaper than a taxi.

About a half hour ago the thunder started, sky continued to turn dark, now it is pouring!!!!
Hurrah!!! Temps have dropped from 90* to 75*, opening up doors and windows, so nice.

Who knew he had a radio show? JOE WALSH started his political career as a RINO and couldn't win a race. When the TEA PARTY movement came along, he jumped on the bandwagon to become a ONE TERM CONGRESSMAN.
He makes the ILLINOIS LINCOLN DINNER CIRCUIT as a "keynote speaker". Not much there.
