We love Ruidoso and Cloudcroft.
Grew up going to see relatives, a few times, in Cloudcroft (hey, Gran, I wonder if we’re related? :)
We have friends who live in Ruidoso, now. They really aren’t too happy there. Everything is so seasonal....they say it’s dead, during summer and spring. Businesses are few and many tend to go out of business, in no time.
Healthcare is another issue for them. They either have to travel to Albuquerque or El Paso to get a half way decent doctor.
