Todays Cryptogram
LY FTN ANVHO EOTEQO, FTN DGUO XT WLCO WT QTUO WDOC. ---CTWDOP WOPOBG
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
THE PRESENT MOMENT IS FILLED WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS. IF YOU ARE ATTENTIVE, YOU WILL SEE IT. THICH NHAT HANH
Got it. False starts and interruptions made it a bit of a mother.
3 and 1/2 min. 4th word got me going, third word slowed me up. Mother said there would days like this.
I simply couldn’t get the third word.
And without any hint!!!! Good job!
We won’t think less of you.
...but then again, how could you?
2 minutes. Guessed the second word, decided where the letter “E” should go, that opened the fourth word and the rest. Third word was the last to be solved.
Talk about false starts. I chopped off the last letter of the author’s name when copying it and that threw me for some time.

Had everything in place but the third word with only two letters showing, like some others.
What I do then is just mentally run through the alphabet to see if anything clicks, starting with the first open letter.
At the 10th letter it then did. Solved! Whew.
(Never trust an Albanian. No offense.)
I happen to be Greek...
I struggled with the third word too. Took me about five minutes today.
Well then you know what I’m talking about...seriously, though, it was just a quip about not trusting what M. Teresa said without posting a spoiler...;)
She’s Albanian?
