I can’t remember the last time I was on a TWA flight.

no surprise, they died nearly 20 years ago.

this piece of fluff is just a hotel trying to draft TWA.

So if almost 20 years ago, that could be a few places.

I seem to recall 3 or 4 years ago that this hopelessly early sixties-modern terminal was the main detractor at the airport. Now it’s cool?

It’s cool. Nice to see that they didn’t tear down that iconic building & found a use for it. Growing up, I passed by JFK almost every day
I didn’t see what the outside of the building with the actual hotel rooms looks like.

Thanks for posting. I’ll be passing on the link.

The St. Louis Airport Hilton is also a shine to TWA.
Every room and hallway feature pictures of smiling Hollywood stars on board or exiting TWA airplanes.
It’s very cool.

Would be a great place to stay one night...then it might get expensive. But still, mighty cool nostalgia.

Pan Am closed in the early 1990s. That’s where my memories are. Maybe a TWA/PanAm hotel could fetch more visitors. Those PanAm memories for some older than I include clipper service on big old sea planes that included sleeping facilities. Sleep-inducing engine sounds and gentle jostling were part of that experience, which easily could be re-created. (I don’t think TWA had that, least ways not that I saw).

I can’t remember the last time I was on a TWA flight.

I think mine was in 1989. Berlin to Frankfurt.
