FULL TITLE: FBI launches an investigation and AG Barr announces a DOJ probe after pedophile Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself in prison ahead of his sex trafficking trial
Jeffrey Epstein has hanged himself inside his New York City jail cell.
The billionaire pedophile was found in cardiac arrest shortly before 7am on Saturday at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan.
He was rushed to nearby New York Downtown Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In a statement, Metropolitan Correctional Center told DailyMail.com that the FBI is now launching an investigation into Epstein's death.
The former financier, 66, was awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking and was being held at the high-security complex without bail.
Epstein - who once boasted an array of high-profile friends including Prince Andrew and President Bill Clinton - was arrested on July 6, accused of arranging to have sex with dozens of underage girls at his residences in New York City and Florida between 2002 and 2005.
He had plead not guilty to the charges.
Epstein's suicide comes just two weeks after he was hospitalized following what may have been an initial attempt to take his own life.

Sometimes you just have to shave with Occam’s razor, and look at it this way - the document release was just the public side of his trial. He knew he was very likely going to spend life in prison, and the document release shattered any dream he had of having a (nonexistent, really) chance of avoiding that. Therefore, he killed himself.
There wasn’t anything substantively new in the document release. Just a few more names to add to the list. That’s all.
With his profile he was looking at life in a federal medical facility. Given his notoriety I have no doubt he would have continued his conquest of women there. Given that suicide seems doubtful.
He was killed. Mossad or a psycho guard would be my guess.
FBI will “investigate” Trump’s links to Epstein and leak that to CNN/MSNBC.

I’m wondering if they made him write a suicide note implicating Trump in any way. I don’t think there is too much they wouldn’t do.
I’m sure a special prosecutor will be assigned and will once again start digging through Trump’s life and associates... Anything to distract people from the Clinton’s and Bill’s numerous visits to the Isle of Pedophilia.

Anytime the anti-American gestapo FBI launches an investigation one word should come to mind - coverup.
My thought is Barr will take DS’s custodial authority over high-profile defendants away from them to a ‘clean’ facility. Can’t drain the DC/NY swamp if you can’t keep a witness alive.
