Many of the expats are also committed to the EU, not so much because they want to be part of a United States of Europe but because they don't want to lose the reciprocal benefits they get by being in the EU. In other words, they would sell out their country and their sovereignty for the price of a health insurance policy payment. For myself and my wife combined that's less than 200 Euros a month. My wife also has an S1 which lets her use the Spanish health care system but since I am American and have to buy my own insurance anyway I thought it was so cheap that I added her so she has 2 options of going for care. I can feel a bit for their plight but since the Trump venom is so rabid any bit of sympathy I might have felt for them goes to nil. Needless to say I'm glad we live in a town where almost everyone speaks Spanish so I don't have to interact with those people very often.

I do agree Trump will win a second term. He’s the incumbent, after all and even the Brown Shirt Media can’t make him appear less deranged than any of the Rats. But it occurs to me, if I am correct, and for a number of reasons that all lean the same way, Trump is the last president, who would we rather have at the helm when the “ship hits the rocks”? Certainly not someone like 0bama or HIllary.

We spent decades looking for a guy on a white horse and GOT him but it doesn’t seem to have had the effect we might have hoped for. The Brown Shirt Media turned one of their own heroes (because he was) who had even won awards for his work in Civil Rights, opened Miami country clubs to blacks, into a violent white supremacist whom they have attacked relentlessly for years now. They really do have the power to bend reality anyway they prefer.

Sounds like the Spanish should expel them and seize their assets. If you go to live in a foreign country, you should make the effort to speak the local language.
