Todays Cryptogram
HCG VYJ JBEBO LBSS LTB XBMLT CN LTB KBSS AH LTB SBJFLT CN LTB MGQM TYJXSB. T.K. LTCQMICJ
Today's Cryptogram is from The Arkansas Gazette
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
HALF THE WORK THAT IS DONE IN THE WORLD IS TO MAKE THINGS APPEAR WHAT THEY ARE NOT. E.R. BEADLE
Sorry for the delay, Folks. Was late getting back from Stone Mountain. Amazing laser show. I think you can see it on Youtube. Amazing that I didn't think there were many patriots out there in the South, but there are.
Would love to hear from you, on how much you like, ( or dislike), the Daily Cryptogram. How can we make it better? Would love to have some art work.
ABCBD....
A third variable is the pressure applied.
1 min or so, straightforward, not too deep. I could handle it.
Mine, too.
About 4 minutes. Never heard of the author but luckily it filled in for me.
Needed some lucky guesses, but it all worked out.
Yes everybody’s favorite
Hmmm sorta deep.
All sorts of ‘old wives tales’ about measuring things against other things.
Definitely in the like column though since I am using ‘Hal’, I don’t feel timing is a ‘true’ measure.
But, that is just me and it isn’t easy being me....
Deep, very deep. 4:30
Same word shows up 4 times?
I wouldn’t add any artwork to this particular quote. LOL!!!
About five minutes. Found the familiar "ABCBD" and the common three letter word. The rest flowed from there.
