Got one of those too.
Springfield 1911A1. Too big for comfortable conceal. Carried it for quite a few years, then went to the G19.
Either one gets the job done.
My thoughts exactly. They are doing this to fit “smaller” hands.
I am a 1911 aficionado. I have several, including a few compact Kimbers that are deadly and perfect for concealed carry.
I would not knock Glock. Good pistol.
But I cannot tolerate the grip angle. If you shoot a 1911 your whole life and pick up a Glock, point naturally at the target, you will find the muzzle is pointing upward due to the different grip angle.
Train with one of them and pointing to target becomes second-nature.
Mix your training and you will confuse your natural reflexes.
Yep, love my 1911
