There’s nothing scarier than finding out that there’s something in your house trying to kill you. Unless it’s just your pet cat.
A Twitter user claimed he was having trouble breathing in his sleep, so he set up a camera to see what was going on at night. What he saw, however, was somehow both adorable and also terrifying (as only cats can pull off).

Luis Navarro posted on the social media site three pictures taken while he was sleeping. His cat can be seen getting closer to his face until it eventually just sits directly on his face, blocking his nose and mouth. It’s unclear if the cat is actively trying to murder him or just getting cozy, but it does look very comfortable in some of the photos.
“I couldn’t breathe when I slept so I installed a camera,” reads the original tweet.

Living with such frightful animals we take our lives into our hands every day.
I’m sure Fiona’s tough. I once watched videos of unhappy cats at their Vet offices. They can be quite scary.
That’s why they want them in carriers.
Yeah, but you have to take them out to treat them.

And with that, I'm going to go to bed. My cat may or may not come with me. She'll only sleep on the bed if my very best new bedspread is on it. She's a tricolored tabby, known for being rather fierce. Or at least not cuddly. Big sigh, sometimes I need a cat cuddle. My last cat was the dearest boy in the world.
My lovely wife thinks cats control the entire planet—we are serving their will in one way or another.
We have a big Maine Coon cat who is really big. She likes to pin my leg down, cuddling up when I take a nap, or doze off reading. And I CAN’T get up! Poor me -— I have to just lie there and nap!

Given the odds, it probably has happened that an infant died because of a cat “smothering” them, unbeknownst to the parents. Think of how many SIDS cases there have been, but I agree with you, just shut the door!
