The USSR got its first McDonald's in January 1990. On a recent trip to Russia, I visited the fast-food restaurant in Moscow. I found that the Moscow location of the fast-food restaurant was a step up from its counterparts in the US. The ordering process was streamlined, the food tasted fresher and more flavorful, and the space was cleaner.
On January 31, 1990, more than 30,000 people waited in line in the cold for hours to eat at the very first McDonald's in the USSR.
Now, the American fast-food chain has at least 650 locations throughout the country. McDonald's is thriving in Russia, with the number of restaurants growing 6% last year, as compared to the global average of 1.5%, The Wall Street Journal reported. And most of the restaurants in Russia cook with ingredients that are sourced from local Russian suppliers, according to the Journal.
On a recent trip to Russia, I ate at the first McDonald's to open in Moscow, and it was a step up from the locations I've visited in the US.

This is 100% true. It’s not just McDonalds either...KFC in Russia is an entire level above that in the USA.

One of my kids said this about these places located in Dubai as well. Said it was much better there than in the states!
America also has crumbling infrastructure, dilapidated historical monuments, and neglected city centers. But there’s still a reason why people come here from places that boast of more glamorous sights and sounds — and choose to stay.
Because despite all the craziness current cultural predicament of political correctness — there is still substance to our culture: our way of life, our person-to-person interaction with each other...things like: customer service, personal responsibility, and rule of law...
It takes generations to instill such values in a people.

I’m in Austria right now. We’ve stopped by to see the McDonald’s in Krakow, Poland and Prague and Salzburg. They are all immaculately clean - especially the toilets which you can sit on with no worries - and the food looks so much healthier and better. Coming here makes it so very clear that so many parts of America are utterly disgusting with horrible people.

Some just want the perks and benefits of America. A free Happy Meal. Forgetting the values it took to make this country great.
Hence Trump: Make America Great Again.
We have a lot to improve. Hence the final “A” in MAGA. But without America those places would still be in the ruins of Nazism and Communism.
And there’d have been no McDonalds period. Please keep in perspective.

Quality of management and staff determine quality of product.
Walk into an average US McDonald’s, and observe their staff. Then walk into a Chick-fil-a and observe.
Ditto for the one I went to a couple of weeks ago in Bucharest.

High quality is what one gets IF one restricts Muslim population shifts into one’s country, which is why Vlad Putin stole Crimea. IN doing so he thwarted Obama’s Arab Spring demographic warfare, and assured that Russia will have good fast food!
