Today’s Cryptogram

B NTBIH CHGKOMH B PED'I LDEN NFKI B IFBDL ODIBJ B THKP NFKI B MKS---RJKDDHTS E'GEDDET

Today's Cryptogram is the from The Arkansas Gazette

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.

For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: brain; cryptogram; puzzle; todayscryptogram
If you're just starting out on these, be patient, as you'll be proficient in no time.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hal’s Helper below:

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

1 min or so.

It just ... clicked. Get the first letter and the contraction, what can I say?

Single letter opens it up. Contraction helps.

Good feeling?

As good as a hot cup of covfefe!

...particularly as I got totally stumped by a couple of them over the past two weeks.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had the author before Hal had a chance to think of what I was up to.

Makes it easy the first 6 letters of name are the same AND the double in the last name ensures the double in the first name.

After that it was a chore to keep my fingers from getting in each others way.....

About a minute and a half. The apostrophe in the last name blew it open for me.

How do I get on this here now ping list?

Two minutes. The apostrophe in the last name gave me the first letter, which confirmed the contraction, which hinted at the one letter word, which opened up the rest of it.
