Eva Tiamat Medusa, from Texas, worked in a 9 to 5 position as vice president of a bank but chose to quit the job so that she could go after her dream of becoming a dragon woman. This was a decision she made after she was diagnosed with HIV. Medusa said that this had been a wakeup call and made her realize she was not living the life she wanted to live.

Eva spent the money undergoing several procedures. She has had her ears removed, her nose has been reshaped, eight horns were implanted into her forehead, and the majority of her teeth were taken out. The two outer teeth on the top were filed and shaped into fangs. The whites of her eyes were stained a blue-green colour, her tongue was split to resemble that of a forked dragon's tongue in a process known as bifurcation. Medusa also spent money on having the whole of her face tattooed, along with branding and scarification on her wrist and chest.

It is a man with HIV who transformed himself into a dragon looking thing.
I know women who are dragons without having to spend any money doing it.

I don’t think this person is a woman anymore than he is a dragon. What this person is is someone deeply unhappy with their self and desperately trying to escape who they are.
If she didn’t legally change her name to Smaugette then she’s a phony. Although I guess Puffina the Magic Dragon would also be acceptable.
