Today’s Cryptogram

DER CSCRID M BEKXJ KY FSZI, DER CSDERZ KY MXYS FSZI. YER IRTRZ RWKYDRJ FRPSZR. –SYES

Today's Cryptogram is the from The Arkansas Gazette

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

No coffee maybe 3 minutes. Would have helped a LOT if I’d ever heard of the author...

Ok, I learned a new word this morning. Mononymous. As in mononymous person or author. In this case it might as well have been anonymous. :)

one minute. Used my go-to word which opened the 13th word.
Interesting quote.
At first glance I thought the author’s name was anon.

About 3 min. Get the “e” and the 13th word. Not familiar with author.

Two consecutive quotes with the ABCBD sequence. Monotonous comes to mind, as well.

30 minutes. It again took me awhile to recognize "IRTRZ," but once I did that got me "FSZI" and the rest fell into place.
