SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A Fort Stewart soldier is in military police custody after an explosive outburst that took place in a local mall parking lot.
In the video, the man can be seen yelling profanity and even twisting the arm of the woman he was with.
The man, who military police say is a member of the 3rd Infantry Division (ID), was dressed in full uniform. At one point in the video, he even uses profanity to criticize the country.
Officials at the 3rd ID said the incident, which has been viewed over 300,000 times on social media, is under investigation.
De’Minka Spaulding was one of the women involved in the incident. She said the argument started because she and a friend were waiting for a parking spot.

I think the guy has bigger problems in his life than a parking space spat.
Looks like the woman across the drive was complaining about his behavior while in uniform, so he rips it off, and then batters the woman he’s with.
He’ll probably play the PTSD card to try to beat the rap.
Sounds like she should have worked in an ER so she could have learned about drinking and driving the easy way. Hopefully, this lesson took.

Soldiers are under jurisdiction of the UCMJ Unified Code of Military Justice. Any negative public action while in uniform would be investigated and acted on.
This “boy” clearly has issues. He battered the woman and needs to be held accountable.

He has a lot of problems.
First. He should not have conducted himself in this manner.

I once ran the public library about 300 feet screen left of her.
He needs help. We had lots of soldiers that came in and they were all very quiet and respectful. I do hope that they can do something for him.
What are you talking about??? If I was his commander, i would get the whole story and then take the appropriate actions. Clearly something happened before the cameras came out.
