I find it odd how a “spontaneous” outpouring of support was covered by dozens of reporters. It was obviously a staged event by the loons who support her or were bussed in by a union.
In the old USSR this was known as a “spontaneous demonstration”.
Oh, and here’s a prediction: Omar & Tlaib will not be blocked from entering Israel and presumably Gaza.
Tlaib’s first triumphant outburst will be, “Sisters!! A Palestinian is now in the U.S. Congress!! The eagle has landed!!!”

It is feasible they are fudging ages. It is common for Somalians to commit all kinds of immigration fraud.
It is also possible that the woman Ahmed calls MUM in Instagram photos is really his MUM. She could have easily had him when she was 12 give or take numbers being fudged.

This would allow Omar to be technically correct that she did not marry her brother. It may have been her nephew.
