Ummmmm.... none of the above. I enjoy the Critical Drinkers reviews.
Yeah, I just started following him recently. He excoriates the newest "James" Bond.

A 60 year old fighter pilot?
It just isnt done. Theyre flying simulators or desks if anything
Many are in prestigious situations offering wisdom and guidance which is what this film should have him doing. Theyll have him fooling around with some woman in her late 20s
Why?
They have Ed Harris looking so much older than any active duty or even second career guy ever known to man
The best was Val Kilmer doing ice man the later years on SNL
Made me fall out of my chair Hes a delta pilot looking for bogies looking for a pick up volley ball game.
They could do something with this maverick as an olderr guy.

I enjoyed Valkyrie. The last movie I watched him in was The Mummy. I think I only watched the first two or three of the Mission Impossible movies. Saw Tropic Thunder too.

OMG I almost wet myself that trailer looks so good.
I will bet any amount of $ that was Cruise at the controls of that FA/18. That is how he rolls — he was at the controls of the helicopter in that amazing chase in the last MI movie.

I will bet any amount of $ that was Cruise at the controls of that FA/18. It could be that the Navy let Cruise ride in the backseat of a two-seater F/A-18F Super Hornet during a carrier launch.
They owe him that much considering what the original Top Gun did for recruiting in the 80s.
To: fishtank
I’ll go to see the aircraft at least. And I think Cruise is savvy enough not to insult Americans in a military movie.

A 60 year old fighter pilot? How can we win wars if our pilots are fueled by geritol? * Yeh, a bit far fetched. But, as others have intimated, hey its a movie 🍿!!!

I will bet any amount of $ that was Cruise at the controls of that FA/18.I heard he is not flying the aircraft, as the navy has a policy that no civilians can fly their aircraft.

My dad was an O-5 with 30 years in, but that was back a ways.

Yeah, like his fellow gay Scientologist John Travolta, he is an avid aviator. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did some of his own flying in that movie.
To: mass55th; HarleyD
He should have gotten an Oscar for Les Grossman...not only was he hysterical, but it was easily his best acting ever.
I am not kidding.

I heard Cruise said a Les Grossman movie was in the works but nothing was close yet.
