MACOMB TWSP, Mich. (FOX 2) - The Buckingham Recreational Facilities Association has a public service announcement for its visitors: Stop pooping in its pool.
In a notice posted Friday afternoon, the association's president said the community pool had to be closed because "someone has been defecating in the pool." And yes, they believe it was on purpose.
"Due to the frequency over the past week, we believe this is intentional," read the statement.
The neighborhood pool is in Macomb Township, located at 50483 Crusader Dr. near 23 Mile Road.
In response to the repeated offense, the board's president said they are reviewing attendance logs and recorded videos. "Rest assured, that we are following published guidelines to restore the pool to a safe and sanitary condition."

Public pools in general are cesspools IMO.
They should leave the poop and put up a warning sign. Let the neighbors go vigilante on the poop perp to remedy the problem.

I’ve heard some water parks have similar experiences. It’s just anecdotal evidence, but, have heard from people some nasty items are found floating in the wave pool at some places. It’s enough that the people pulled their kids out of there.
This kind of crap is why we can’t have nice things.
Can’t do that...public health regs require immediate remediation.

just got back from a 10 week RV trip to Yellowstone via Livingston Montana.
Stayed in many RV parks on the way.
Young kids peeing in pools and old folks leaking GOD only knows what in to said pools kept me out of pools. Did swim in the very cold Yellowstone River though.
As for public pools, NO WAY.

In 1972 I made my first visit to Disneyland. Upon ascending the steps to the train platform just inside the main gate, I saw a family of ferriners quietly standing around watching their 3-year-old son drop his drawers and pee into the floor drain.
Seemed shocking way back then. Of course that was before ‘all cultures are equal’ came along.
