President Trump will announce that he is backing away from trying to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census during a Thursday afternoon news conference, according to multiple reports.
The president instead will take executive action to direct the Commerce Department to collect the information by other means. ABC News was the first to report the development.

Not at all. I am just referring to this particular issue. The Dems have been all wee wee’d up on redistricting and the census for years. The GOP not so much. Even though POTUS is fight for more GOP seats which will mostly be filled with establishment types. The is GOP content being the minority, apparently.
Will reserve judgement until I hear from Trump.
The left is learning that if Trump is all we nationalists have going for us then they really have nothing to fear.
It’s all 4-D chess! Trump will appear to cave and cave and cave, but then... on the very last day of his presidency, in the limo with the President-elect on the way to the swearing-in....BAM!! It was all a Brilliant Trap. He will suddenly win on everything. The millions of of third-world migrants who entered on his watch will be so amazed they will all leave the country by noon that day.
Illegals aren’t a problem because of Trump. He probably wants whatever want but reality is hitting and he has about 10 people in the whole government who agree with him. As such, he has a hard time getting what he wants.
