An Illinois mother was arrested after authorities say she was driving around with her kids inside a pool on the roof of her vehicle.
The Dixon Police Department said they were notified by a concerned citizen about the vehicle on Tuesday.
Officers found the vehicle driving around with a blue inflatable pool on the roof with two juveniles inside of it.
She was also cited for failure to secure a passenger of the age of 8 and under the age of 16.

Coming from you, I love it.
Most people can’t be honest.
I was expecting to see the word Florida.....
Dixon is a pretty nice little town. Other than that embezzling accountant with the horse farm, you don’t hear too much from them.
“mother was arrested after authorities say she was driving around with her kids inside a pool on the roof of her vehicle. “
i had no idea that was illegal ...
I get that response a lot. However, once I realized there was no water in the pool, I became unimpressed. I thought the lady was driving around while her kids played in a pool full of water. My sons would sign up for that in a heartbeat!
And how are you?
‘Murica!
Coolest mom ever.
I grew up in a time when no one would blink at hijinks like this.
No one wants to talk about what fatherless families do to females. I do not know if this woman grew up without a father, just sayin'.
Now I’ve heard everything!
She couldn’t just drive over to Walgreens or Walmart and buy an air pump ...manual or one powered from the cig lighter of the car?
I catch your drift. My nephew, a State Police detective, likes to talk about his younger days, pulling over great-grandmas for erratic driving while sucking out of a bottle of vodka! He hated to arrest them but he had to.
I wonder what her plans were for obtaining water in the most bass ackward way possible?
Yeah...they did this on the Honey -boo-boo show.
Just call the local fahr hall and have her sweeties deliver it.
I don't see how that pool stayed on top of the car without blowing or sliding off.
Gene pool, too. Mom almost emptied it.
How about just being bad people? Its as simple as that, its not always someone elses fault.
She should have borrowed a hose and filled it with water. It couldn’t have been much fun for the kids trying to splash around in a dry pool.
Different meaning of car pooling I guess.
