When I was a teenager we use to have bottle rocket wars. Basically we would build a couple impromptu “trenches” on either side of field with whatever obstacles we could find such as tree branches or boxes and then lob bottle rockets at our opponents trench. Thankfully the worst that ever happened is few minor burns on my arms and shoulders and slight temporary hearing loss from having one blow up close to my ear. We did have one guy’s hair catch on fire, leaving a rather large burnt patch. (we started wearing helmets after that).
