Chickens are friends for some people, dinner for others. Sometimes both.
But one animal rights group feels that the name of a rural road in the Treasure Valley isnt kind to poultry.
PETA sent out a news release Wednesday morning alerting Idaho media that it has written a letter to Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas to ask for a change to the street name Chicken Dinner Road. However, Caldwell city street maps dont include Chicken Dinner Road, which is located in rural Canyon County.

Good heavens. Well, if the libs are that far into the hinterlands looking for things to get their panties in a wad about, don’t tell them about the name of the lesser mountain peak in San Diego County in the middle of nowhere.
Hint to enterprising Freepers: the GPC coordinates are 32.650425, -116.138157.
F#ck PETA!
Chicken Sh!t PETA wants Chicken Dinner Road to be changed ... should change it to Dumb A$$ PETA Road ... see how they like the change.
Dead Whiny Libtard Road it is, then.
Winner, Winner
Chicken Dinner!
Chicken Dinner Road?
Tasteful when Barbequed, wlow roasted with a garlic and rosemary rub...
Dear PETA,
No.
--Mayor Nancolas
I’d vote to rename it Fried Chicken Liver Dinner Rd., then whack the first yapping PETArd across the noggin with a potato spade.
Or the ever-popular Big Chicken Dinner.
Several years ago, a radio station in Maryville, TN had a contest for kids to sing the Oscar Meyer song...The kid who won got to ride to school one morning in the Weiner Mobile...
PETA was there along with the boy’s excited classmates and when the kid got out, a PETA guy threw fake blood on the kid...
Little did the PETA guy know, but the kid’s dad was riding with him...
The dad put the PETA guy in ICU at Blount Memorial Hospital...
Why doesn’t PETA want chickens to have dinner? Sounds cruel.
Sounds like the PETA guy was pajama boy in clothes.
So, why not change the name of the road to "Winner Winner Road"?
nice try Guy! 32.650425N puts the street on the Mexican boundary.
I don’t know...I wasn’t there, but the dad kicked his butt good...This was back in the ‘70’s.....
I shot my first deer next to Ni**erhead Creek (now Yellowjacket), not far from Bear Sh*t Lake in Washington State back in the 60’s. Both were listed on maps at the time.
We have “Dead Indian Road” out here. Can’t believe they haven’t been forced to change it.
