Versailles, KentuckyA massive fire destroyed a Jim Beam warehouse in northern Kentucky on Wednesday, but officials said no one was injured. Firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze at a warehouse in Versailles, which is filled with about 45,000 barrels of bourbon.
Two barrel warehouses caught fire late Tuesday night. One warehouse initially caught fire with flames spreading to the second structure, Drew Chandler of Woodford County Emergency Management told CBS affiliate WLKY-TV.
Crews were able to put one out, but the other kept burning for hours. Chandler said it may have been caused by lightning.

White Lightning?
Jim Beam and Coke. Two wrongs come close enough to right.
Fortunately ethanol and oak are renewables, easily replaced and of minimal value since it died young.
Hillary Clinton is outside walking around and lightning strikes the Jim Beam Bourbon warehouse.
There is no justice in this world.
Come to think of it, I believe there's a high-end US soy sauce company that uses used bourbon barrels too.
Well hell that’s a shame then. These are past well-done.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim Beam Black is quite good. It beats many much more expensive bourbons in blind testings. To each his own.
Now that is truly a tragedy.
If you order a burbon and coke Beam may be what you get. Dont know if they still cut bar stock with shine or not but they used to. Most in saloons are into quantity not quality. If youre a discerning drinker go to the liquor store and buy your favorite then go home. Go to a bar and take your chances.
I nominate this for post of the week.
