Today’s Cryptogram

HYWSB TZRTJTRNSEG, ZMB HYWSB MYHSZTASBTMZ OWZ, OSUW S QMEEWHW MY NZTJWYGTBC HYWSB. —PSYMER L. RMRRG

Today’s CG is courtesy of the Arkansas Gazette.

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

Some lucky guesses had to do it this time, and Google for the middle name.

I have no clue as to how I solved it. It just happened. Took a while...focused on the word that was repeated three times.
As to the author’s middle name, I put a letter that would look appropriate. ok, so I only solved 95% of the CG.

This one took a long time. I got the single letter, tried about a million things and nothing worked. I tried a common ending on one of the long words and then everything fell into place.

Some false starts, but I stared at until the second word became apparent.

Lots of diddling around with the three letter words, common vowel combinations... I didn’t time myself but I bet I took a good 15 minutes.

I also had to look up the middle initial.

A day late. 30 minutes. Took a stab at the one letter word, then guessed the three letter word after the comma, and the rest opened up. Had to Google the author's middle initial.
