Canned Heat: You own three stereos and no car.
Used to be my favorite band but I own four stereos and three cars. I got backstage at one of their concerts in '69 and met Bob Hite, Alan Wilson and Henry Vestine - I think they are all gone now.

The Shadows of Knight. (Gloria)

or

Laura Branigan (Gloria)

both were tremendous in their day.
My Opinion.

Nope. But maybe a pinball machine or Frogger.

And only 1970's Bowie:

Moonage Daydream

Except they turn the machines off at bight, wiping out the high scores. While I was good at Dig Dug and OK at Zaxxon (I killed the giant robot twice), my specialties were Kickman, Moon Cresta, Carnival and Crazy Climber. Hard to find even in retro-arcades.

No Dire Strait? No Clapton?

There's no room for all of them. I was looking for Del Shannon and Gary Lewis and the Playboys.

Laura Branigan had an incredibly powerful voice.

Her debut album (with “Gloria”) featured “A-class” studio musicians including:

“Toto’s Steve Lukather on guitar, Leland Sklar and Bob Glaub on bass, Carlos Vega on drums and Michael Boddicker on synthesizers, plus Maxine and Julia Waters on background vocals.”

Oh, Peter, of course! Fell in love with him as a teenager. *HEART* I saw them at Summerfest in Milwaukestan; one of their last concerts with Peter.

Phil Collins did a stand up job, too - but by then they were so much more commercial.

One of my favorite albums by a Genesis Alum is, ‘Please Don’t Touch’ by Steve Hackett.

Some interesting, experimental music with lots of great guest vocals. Joe Walsh! Oleta Adams! Richie Havens! Lots of fun. :)

I’m a fan of many of those bands but a lot of the references went over my head. A for effort through, some of them were quite witty.

One of my favorite albums by a Genesis Alum is, ‘Please Don’t Touch’ by Steve Hackett.

Actually some of my favorite Genesis Alum solo albums are from Ant Phillips, especially "The Geese and the Ghost", Phil even makes a vocal appearance on the album, although they were never together in Genesis.

Voyage of the Acolyte is the best Hackett album. Phil and Mike were on that well as well. “Ace of Wands” is an incredible tune.
