Hello Deplorable Trump Kids!

Love apple pie, make a mean one.
Hubby always thought I should sell them, my Mom’s recipe.

I love making them with Macintosh apples but you can’t find them anymore.
Does anyone know if they have been replaced with Honeycrisp apples?
Saw this site, but, pie would be expensive as I use about 4 to 5 pounds per pie.

Seeing that thing throw that bowling ball will give me nightmares!

When I was 11-13 years old I set pins by hand - no machine.
We got paid 10¢ a game. We would always set two alleys, somethime 3 or four if shorthanded.
After the pins were set we had a small shelf behind the pit to crouch on while the bowlers bowled.
We were either on the shelf or jumping from one alley to the next.
A strong bowler can blast pins all over the pit and there was no way to dodge them.
They would hit us everywhere and HARD!
They'd leave bruises and sore spots - arms, legs back, head!

I am NOT a baker, but I know a lot of people use Granny Smith Apples.
